As can be seen from the photographs, a wet first day at Landsskuet but the girls still did well, Cassie was in first with Laura and they did an excellent show to be placed number one in a very strong class of twelve she was then later in the day awarded max 24 points !
Cecilia was in the two year old class with Susanne and came third of four, she showed herself well considering how nervous she was of the huge show ground, she has a lot of "growing up" to do, but we are very happy for the experience she had.
On day two we had true Shetland weather again, no rain but VERY strong winds. This didn't deter Laura and Signe from taking Cassie into the showing competition!
Day three and Signe qualified for Saturday mornings showing final, where she was placed 3rd and Best Junior.
Congratulations to Signe who is now "Elite"
Huge thanks to Fam Dahl for once again allowing us to be part of the family and for showing our ponies for us !!
Thanks to Landsskuet for the beautiful rosettes the ponies received and to Avlsforeningen for Shetlandsponyer I Danmark for the beautiful prize Cassandra won
And final thanks to all the other shetland folk who came together in the "big tent" and helped make it such a memorable few days !
